The leaf of a book, rarely sees light,
yet the leaf of a book lives on.
The leaf of a book won't wilt in winter,
the leaf stays when the author is gone

The leaf of a book can tear in a second
though it folds on its favourite page
The leaf holds dreams that can beckon
though it grows yellow with age

The leaf of a book can tell you are asleep
it will flutter past and close without wind
The leaf can hold a moment so deep
it hides the picture you safe-guarded within

The leaf of a book is beyond your life
it marks the day you are born and when you'll die
The leaf of a book records a man made history
you'll never know the truth no matter how you try

Disappoint Disappointment

Why are you so scared my lil one

So terrified of what awaits

Why do you remember the worst of your past

And not all the wonderful moments and dates

Why don’t recall the joy and fun

every 1^st aug, the specialness we share

Don’t you want to kindle that untouched innocence

Build a new celebration, the lovely feeling of care

Do not think its a man who can make you happy

That is not true and every woman knows

But its her kin and kittens and sisters and mittens

That make her smile all through the woes

The rewards are endless, the joys are many

If you only learn how to see

that's the best part of life experience

In the end all go, you and me

To know how a wife feels

To know how a life feels

To know that its one milestone done

To know you are a mother

To know the care for another

To know how to push on when it doesn’t feel fun

And what will you achieve

Alone and all stress free

Happy running errands for every other being

There will be no pride, how will you hide

Your cowardice from dreaming
