Write a poem
for myself

Yes i have reached that
place

Where I matter more
to me than anyone
else

Think a tinkering lil laugh
over some silly thing so daft

smile a lingering lil smile
laze around for some more while

No not selfless anymore
Not in love like before
just a free bird in my mind
me my space & my time
tell a story, tell a joke
humour some foolish blokes
write a poem coz I shine
write it coz i am most mine
